Do you provide landscaping?
Yes. We typically provide a basic landscaping package. However, we can always add additional landscaping for an extra fee.
Where do you build?
DKI is licensed to build homes anywhere in the Commonwealth of Virginia. However, we most often work in King William, King & Queen, Middlesex, New Kent, Essex, Hanover, Henrico, and Richmond counties.
Do you use contractors?
Yes, we do—the best in the business. That said, your DKI Homes project manager controls the quality of your home. He or she will ensure your home meets our strict quality standards so we can build you a home we’re all proud of.
What is your warranty period for new homes?
All of our homes come with a one-year materials and workmanship warranty and a five-year foundation warranty per Virginia Code 55.1-357. In addition, many of the quality products we use, such as appliances, faucets, flooring, siding, roofing, windows, and HVAC equipment, include their own warranties. Important!
Some companies, such as HVAC manufacturers, will extend your warranty for free if you register your product within 30 days of closing on your new home. Please consult the warranty information in your owner’s manual for more information.
